Courage Group is a contemporary dance company committed to creating original dance works

fusing classical art and architecture with metaphoric and resonant movement ideas.

Our objective is to meet one’s inherent need to transcend the physical experience,

resulting in a psychologically engaging, emotionally cathartic, and transporting occasion.

Courage Group frequently enlists the talents of artists in parallel fields

(most notably musicians and visual artists).   With these efforts, Courage Group

not only exposes a larger audience to dance, but fosters the investigation,

development and realization of the performing and visual arts of others.

In addition, Courage Group organizes, produces and curates benefit concerts to stabilize

pivotal performance spaces in the Bay Area.
